According to Bloomberg, the classic car market is branching in two directions: on the one side are the best-of-breed models where prices are continuing to rise, while on the other side are the “rest”, where sales and prices are stagnating.

Evidently results from classic car auctions are ahead of forecasts, with sellers scoring highly on sales of high-ticket vehicles like Ferraris. In contrast, your “average” classic car is bringing less rewarding returns as these autos become more difficult to sell.
